Did you know that on brand photos can shift you from

“Ugh, I hate being on camera”

to “hell yeah, let’s post this"

When you feel confident in front of the lens, you show up confidently online and that energy makes clients and customers want in.

You could hire any photographer…

but here’s the difference.

I’m not just behind the camera. I’m building a business right alongside you. I get the long nights, the big dreams, and the pressure to show up online even when it feels awkward. That’s why my process isn’t about stiff poses or fake smiles. It’s about capturing the real you, so you can finally show up with confidence and attract the clients who are waiting for exactly what you offer.

Creating Strategic Photographic Content Is My Thing

It’s not just about a pretty aesthetic picture around here (though yes, they’ll be pretty and fit your vibe). The goal is deeper than that. Every image we create together is intentional, story-driven, and designed to support where your business is headed.

On Social Media → You want someone to land on your page and instantly think, “Okay, I get them — I want to stick around.” Your photos should feel approachable, aligned, and impossible to scroll past.

On Your Website → When someone finds you through a Google search, your visuals need to say, “Yep, I’m exactly what you’ve been looking for.” It’s about trust, professionalism, and showing you’re the solution.

For Your Rebrand → You’ve been at this a while, you’ve grown, and your brand deserves to grow with you. Your photos should reflect not just who you are today, but where you’re going next.

Because at the end of the day, photos that look good are nice. But photos that work for your business? That’s the real magic.

Small Brands FTW

Believe it or not, I didn’t start out in photography. My career began in Early Childhood Education, working as a Resource Consultant and helping families navigate the chaos of early intervention systems.

When I went on maternity leave, I turned to content creation as a creative outlet. Soon I was working with big, household-name brands — the kind with endless budgets but zero heart. They didn’t value me or my work… and truthfully, I didn’t value them either.

At the same time, I was spending my own limited maternity leave dollars at local small businesses. That’s when the lightbulb moment hit: Why can’t I do this for the people I actually believe in?

So I made the switch. Now, every session I shoot is for small businesses like yours — the ones pouring in long hours, passion, and grit. The ones who deserve photos that fuel their growth and actually feel like them.

Because I’d choose a small business over a big brand any day.

Enough About My Work, Let’s Talk About Who I Am

I’m a summer girlie through and through. From May to September, you’ll find me somewhere in the Ontario wilderness — hiking, camping, or just soaking it all in with my husband and daughters.

And the rest of the year? Fair question. I mostly hibernate and dabble in new crafty hobbies before inevitably abandoning them. So far: sewing, watercolour, embroidery, digital drawing… crocheting might be next!

"Emily was such a ray of sunshine to work with. She asked questions and got to know me in order to help bring my vision to life while making it totally ME. Emily nailed my branding photo session and I won’t hesitate to use her to update them in the future. She’s one talented lady and love seeing her grow.
