WHEN SHOULD I INVEST IN BRANDING PHOTOGRAPHY?

Right away. If you're just starting prelaunch would be ideal. If you've already been operating for some time and haven't yet, it's a great time too, this will show your current clients you're growing. Anytime you rebrand or launch something new is an excellent time to invest. Lastly, if you are using old or overused images then you definitely need to invest again.

WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSION?

The early bird gets the worm! if you have a date or time frame in mind, book as soon as you know. I typically book a month or two in advance, but cancellations do happen and I might have last-minute space.

HOW LONG WILL I WAIT TO SEE MY PHOTOS?

I typically provide an online gallery within 24 hours of your session. This is your selection album, in which you chose the images that I will edit and deliver. Photos are typically delivered within 1 week but up to 2 weeks.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

I am in Midland, Ontario. I service Barrie, Orillia, Muskoka, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Elmvale, Oro Medonte, Innisfil, Angus, Bradford and the rest of Simcoe County. I also will travel to Muskoka, York Region, GTA and beyond for an extra fee.

WHERE IS MY SESSION?

The possibilities are endless. We can shoot in your home, a studio, your business, outdoors or another business (with permission). During your inquiry, we will discuss ideal locations that match your brand.

CAN I ADD MORE IMAGES TO MY PACKAGE AFTER?

Yes, you can choose more images to purchase once you receive your selection album or within 3 months of your final images delivered.

HOW DO I PAY?

You will receive an invoice by email, which you can pay by credit, debit, EMT or Afterpay/Affirm using Stripe. Deposits are due upon booking, and remainders are due the day before your session.

is there any additional perks to hiring anchors away?

You may receive client gifts, food and beverages or other bonuses during or after your session.

Session Preperations FAQ

How long is my session?

Branding Sessions start at 45min in length of shooting time, with 15min for set up & take down. You can consult your package and contract for the length of your individual session.

How do i prepare for my session?

Once we have an inital inquiry chat, we book a consultation where we discuss everything about you, your brand and your goals with the images. We will cover all the nitty gritty details, you'll receive a prep guide & mood board with a prop list to keep you on track before your session.

I get really nervous infront of the camera, how do you help in these situations?

You're not alone, I don't enjoy being in front of the camera either. Because we chat a couple of times before your session I won't feel like a stranger, this helps as we have built a relationship. I like to think that I am good at recognizing when you're uncomfortable and I will put the camera down, chat it out with you, encourage you to shake it out and we start again. I'm patient and understanding and would rather you feel comfortable to create the best images.

DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?

I always suggest your personal work materials. We also will cover this during our planning consultation.

I CAN'T DO HAIR AND MAKE UP, CAN YOU RECOMMEND SOMEONE?

I have a network of hair and makeup artists I am happy to suggest. If full glam is not your normal, I do not suggest it for your photos. You want your clients to recognize you in person.

WHAT DO I WEAR TO MY SESSION?

Simply, Clothes you feel comfortable in that are authentic to what you wear when conducting your business. During our pre-shoot consultation, you have the option to add-on wardrobe help from me, or I can also recommend a stylist for you to hire.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO POSE... WHAT DO I DO IN MY PHOTOS?

Do not stress! I got you. Between your favourite music playing, casual conversation and natural flow posing you will not need to worry.

how stylized is my session

I give broad stylization tips for bringing props and will help style them in your photos. I do have the option to hire a prop stylist for your session as well.

General FAQ

What image usage rights do i receive?

You will receive a limited, non-exclusive non-transferable, revocable commercial license to make copies of and use the works on social media, on your website, standard size print promotional and marketing materials solely for personal and commercial use and not for economic gain.

How do i receive my photos?

Your photos will arrive in your email inbox with a link to an online digital gallery. You will have to option to download websize for online use and hi-res for printing. Prior to editing your photos I'll inquire to the various ways you would like your images cropped for different aspect ratios. ex. IG Post are 1:1 or 4:5, Stories and Reels are 9:16.

What is your editing style?

I like to edit naturally as much as possible, with true colour tones. I would not define my editing as bright & airy but images are bright and white if that's the scene we shot in.

Can someone join me at my session?

Sure, If you want someone there for moral support or to help you in any way bring them. I also encourage you to bring someone to create behind the scenes content, more B-Roll video footage and act as a model client in your photos.
